Ment Funding Forex: Keep Daily and Total Loss Floors Separate

Ment Funding's site separates Forex, Futures and Equities. The selected Forex rule text describes two different loss limits. This source guide, checked 24 October 2026, shows why a daily balance reference and a static starting balance need separate fields.

Select the market and rule text before a percentage

The reviewed Forex text describes a 5% daily limit from the prior day's balance and a 6% static maximum below the starting balance. The page also displays a different daily-loss headline for Equities. Do not apply the Forex example across every tab. The same text says the static limit locks at the starting balance after the first payout; the arithmetic below is before that change.

Record the specific market, rule version and account stage. A headline that omits a tier exception is not a substitute for the relevant plan conditions.

A fictional pair of floors

Before the first payout, take 100,000 as an illustrative starting balance and 102,000 as the previous-day balance. Five percent of 102,000 is 5,100, so the daily illustration gives 96,900. Six percent below 100,000 gives a separate 94,000 static boundary.

An illustrative 96,800 equity lies above 94,000 but below 96,900. Passing one arithmetic comparison would not satisfy the other. No actual account, fees or other conditions were tested, so this is not a personalised available-risk figure.

Keep the clock and stage with the snapshot

The provider labels the daily reset as 5 PM EST in the selected text. Preserve that stated reference and the actual date instead of silently treating a personal clock as the provider day.

This page does not verify U.S. acceptance, an account approval, a withdrawal or an affiliation with every person using the name MentFX. It concerns Ment Funding's named public rule text.

Compare the same quantities with a different provider

Use separate columns for starting balance, day reference, rate, calculated boundary and other account conditions. Do not choose a preferred result by mixing two definitions after seeing an outcome.

The HashHedge invitation below concerns its own programme. A Ment market, rate, reset or account entitlement does not transfer through an affiliate link.
